DataCamp's reporting tools give Enterprise/Teams admins visibility into learning progress, engagement, content usage, and skills development. You can access these reports in the Group Hub under the Reporting tab. Each report offers filters and export options to help you tailor insights to your organization and make data-informed decisions.
Note: Some reporting features are available only on Enterprise plans.
Progress Report
The Progress Report provides a detailed table of all active members in your group who have earned XP. For each learner, you can view:
- Courses, Chapters, Projects, Practices, Tracks, and Assessments completed
- Total XP earned
- Last XP date (most recent activity)
You can:
- Sort each column to find top performers or recently active learners
- Search by name

Filter by:
- Time range (last 30/90/365 days or custom within 2 years)
- Member history (account creation or Enterprise/Teams join date)
- License type (Enterprise/Teams or Basic)
- Content types (show/hide columns)
To see exactly what content a learner completed and when, click on any hyperlinked number next to their name. This opens a detailed view of their completions and timestamps.
Use this report to: Track learner progress, identify high performers, monitor recency of activity, and flag inactive users for follow-up.
Adoption Report
The Adoption Report shows how effectively your organization is onboarding learners to the platform.

Adoption Score: Percentage of users who have earned XP
- For seat-based plans: XP earners / total licenses
- For unlimited plans: XP earners / invites sent
- Adoption Benchmark: Compare your score to similar organizations in your industry or size group

User Adoption Funnel: Visual breakdown of onboarding stages:
- Seat-based: Licenses, Invites Sent, Accepted, Started, Open seats, Pending, Not Started
- Unlimited: Invites Sent, Accepted, Started, Pending, Not Started
Use this report to: Evaluate onboarding effectiveness, identify where users drop off, and plan engagement strategies to move more learners into the "Started Learning" stage.
Engagement Report
The Engagement Report measures how active your learners are over time.
- Engagement Score: Percentage of users who earned XP in the last 30 days
- Daily and Monthly Trends: XP earned, time spent learning, and number of active users
- Benchmarking: See how your engagement compares to similar organizations
Use this report to: Track ongoing learning activity, measure the impact of learning campaigns, and monitor dips or spikes that may warrant communication or intervention.
Content Insights
Understand which learning content your teams engage with most. Use filters to focus by time range, license type, and content category.
XP Tab
Shows total XP earned by content type and time period.
Courses
- Top courses by learner participation or total XP
- View content engagement over time to spot consistent performers
Projects
- Most used real-world coding projects
- Participation helps track applied learning
Tracks
- Most popular career and skill tracks
- Identify organizational learning goals based on content trends
Use this report to: Guide content recommendations, align learning with business goals, and identify which formats drive progress.
Assessments
Gain insights into learners' skills through the Assessments Report.
- Completion Volume: Total assessments completed
- Performance Data: Median scores, score distribution, and time-based trends
- Benchmarks: Compare performance to other DataCamp customers
- Recommendations: Content suggestions based on assessment results
Use this report to: Assess organizational skill levels, detect knowledge gaps, and personalize training efforts.

Certifications
Track your organization's pursuit of verified credentials:
- Certifications started, in progress, and completed
- Breakdown by certification type (e.g., Data Scientist, Data Analyst)
- Visual progress tracking

Time in Learn
This report shows how much time learners are spending on different types of content:
- Hours spent in Courses, Projects, Practices, Tracks, and Assessments
- Monthly usage trends and team comparisons
Use this report to: Measure engagement depth, monitor consistency, and evaluate content ROI.

DataLab Usage
Track how learners are using DataLab, DataCamp’s notebook environment for applied learning:
- Number of active users
- Total time spent in notebooks
- Workbooks created and viewed over time
Use this report to: Encourage hands-on experimentation, track skill application, and identify who is engaging beyond standard content.

Export Reports
Easily export in-depth data as CSV or Excel files:
- Course completions
- Time in Learn
