Understanding the Admin Dashboard in the Group Hub
The Admin Dashboard serves as the primary landing page for Administrators in the Group Hub. It provides a high-level overview of how your team is engaging with DataCamp, helping you monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and take action directly from the dashboard.
Who can access this dashboard?
Admins, Managers, and Team Managers. Members cannot view the Admin Dashboard or other pages of the Group Hub.
Dashboard Overview
Each section of the dashboard displays key insights and includes quick action buttons to help you manage your group efficiently. The dashboard syncs every 24 hours, and the last sync time can be checked at the top of the dashboard under the greeting message: "Last updated at...".
1. Current Member Adoption
Shows license usage and onboarding status at a glance.
- Center number: Total licenses purchased

Color-coded ring:
- Blue: Members started
- Grey: Members not started
- Yellow: Invites pending
- Purple: Open seats
- Action button: Manage Members — quickly invite, remove, or manage users.
2. Cumulative Time on Platform
Displays the total hours your group has spent learning on DataCamp.
- Line graph shows usage trends over time
- Green highlight = increase in the past 30 days
- Action button: Create Custom Track — assign personalized learning tracks.
3. Members Who Have Earned XP
Tracks active learners by showing how many members earned XP recently.
- Bar graph shows month-over-month activity
- Action button: View Leaderboard — see top learners by XP.
4. Unit Completions
Breaks down total units completed by content type:
- Assess (Skill assessments)
- Learn (Courses)
- Practice (Exercises)
- Apply (Projects)
- Green number = increase in the last 30 days

5. View and Analyze Skill Gaps
Helps you understand team skill levels based on completed assessments.
- Total unique assessment completions
- Skill Matrix visualizes proficiency by topic and member
