Where is my DataCamp subscription?

You’ve purchased a subscription, but you're still listed as a free user or cannot access courses. Here’s how to fix that.

🧪 Step 1: Refresh and Recheck

Sometimes browser caching or session glitches cause access issues.

  1. Log out of your account
  2. Clear your browser cache or open a private/incognito window
  3. Log back in and check your access again

📧 Step 2: Did You Use the Right Email?

Most subscription issues stem from:

  • Typing the wrong email during checkout
  • Creating multiple accounts by mistake
  • Using “Sign in with Apple” (with a hidden email)

Try signing in with any email or login method you may have used when purchasing.

If you can access an account but it does not show your subscription, you may have activated the plan under a different email address.

🔁 Can I Transfer a Subscription or Merge Accounts?

DataCamp cannot merge accounts or transfer subscriptions between them.

Each subscription is tied to a single DataCamp account and cannot be moved to another one.
If you've purchased a subscription under the wrong email, your options are:

  • Continue using the account where the subscription exists (you may update the email in your settings), or
  • Cancel the subscription on the incorrect account and repurchase using your preferred account and email. Refunds are available within our refund window and must be requested from the account that holds the subscription.

💳 Step 3: Contact Support With Payment Info

If you still can’t find your subscription, contact DataCamp Support and include the following:

If you paid with a credit card:

  • The last four digits of the card
  • Card expiration date
  • Cardholder name
  • Charge amount
  • Charge date
  • Card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

If you paid via PayPal:

  • The PayPal account email address

If you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay:

  • The payment number (usually starts with P-)
