If you’ve paid for a DataCamp subscription but don’t see Premium access, follow these steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue.
Step 1: Make sure you're logged into the correct email
Your subscription is linked to the exact email address used during purchase.
Log out of your current session.
Try logging in using other emails you may have used at checkout.
If you used Google, Apple, LinkedIn, or GitHub to sign in, try those options too.
💡 This is the most common reason subscriptions appear “missing.”
Step 2: Refresh and recheck your subscription
Sometimes, your account needs to refresh after a successful payment.
Log out and clear your browser or app cache.
Log back in and go to Account Settings → Subscription
Wait 1–2 minutes for the page to update your access status.
⚠️ If you subscribed via mobile, try checking access through the app as well.
Step 3: Confirm your payment was processed
Check your payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) to verify the transaction.
Collect the following before contacting support:
Email address used for the subscription
Payment method (e.g., Visa, PayPal)
Date and amount of the charge
Last 4 digits of the card or payment account
Step 4: Verify your subscription in settings
Go to Account Settings → Subscription
Look for an active plan listed as Premium or Teams

If no subscription shows, and payment went through:
You may be logged into the wrong account
Or the subscription may still be processing
Step 5: Test access to Premium content
Open any course and try accessing Chapter 2 or later.
If the content is locked, your Premium access is not active.
Step 6: Contact support if you still can’t see your subscription
If you’ve tried all the steps above and still don’t have access:
If you paid with a credit card:
- The last four digits of the card
- Card expiration date
- Cardholder name
- Charge amount
- Charge date
- Card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
If you paid via PayPal:
- The PayPal account email address
If you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay:

Can I transfer a subscription or merge accounts?
No, DataCamp does not support account merges or subscription transfers between accounts.
If you accidentally purchased a subscription under the wrong email:
Update the email on the subscribed account to your preferred one
This preserves your subscription, progress, and future access
