Can I pause my DataCamp subscription?

If you’re on a monthly plan and need a short break, you can pause your subscription for up to three months. Here's how it works:

Who can pause their subscription?

  • Only monthly subscribers can pause.

  • Annual plans cannot be paused mid-term.

How to pause your subscription

  1. Log in to your DataCamp account.

  2. Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription.

  3. Choose a pause duration: 1, 2, or 3 months.

Your subscription will pause after your current billing cycle ends.

What happens during the pause?

  • You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

  • You won’t be charged during the pause.

  • Your subscription expiration date is not extended.

  • Billing resumes automatically after your selected pause period.

Can I reactivate early?

Yes! You can resume your subscription at any time:

  • Go to Account Settings → Subscription

  • Click Reactivate Now

Pause limitations

  • You can only pause for up to 3 months per pause request.

  • Only one pause request can be active at a time.

Need a longer break?

If you’re not sure when you’ll return, consider canceling your subscription instead:

  • Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription → Cancel.

  • You'll retain access until the end of your billing cycle.

  • Your learning progress is saved.
