How to Regain Access to Your DataCamp Account Without Access to Your Email

If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your DataCamp account, you can still recover your account with help from our Support team. Here’s what to do.

Step 1: Contact Support to Verify Your Identity

To protect your account, we need to confirm you’re the rightful owner. Be ready to provide:

  • The last four digits of the card used for subscription payments.

  • The email address previously used on the account.

  • Any recent invoice number or charge date, if available.

If you can’t provide this information, we may ask for other details in order to try to verify the account ownership.

Important: If we’re unable to verify your identity based on the information provided, we may not be able to recover your account. This is to protect your privacy and account security.

Step 2: Request an Email Address Update

Once verified, our Support team can help you to:

  • Change the email on your account to a new, accessible address.

  • If the new email is already linked to a separate account, we may need to delete or update that account before transferring access.

Step 3: Reset Your Password

After your email is updated, follow these steps to reset your password:

  1. Select the "Forgot Password" option on the login page.
  2. Check your inbox for the password reset email (look in spam or junk folders if necessary).
  3. Use the provided link to set a new, secure password. If you encounter any issues, contact DataCamp support for assistance. They can manually reset your password and provide temporary login credentials if required.

Tips:

  • Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t receive the reset email.
  • If the new email is already in use, let us know; you may need to free it by deleting a duplicate account.
  • If your browser continues to autofill the old email address, clear your browser cache or autofill settings and try entering the new email address manually.
