DataCamp’s Privacy Policy allows DataCamp to potentially use exercise submissions, inputs, and outputs from your experience on our platform to train AI models to improve our AI experiences. This article explains your opt-out rights and how to exercise them.
Note: Opting out only affects how DataCamp uses your data on our own platform. If you access DataCamp content through a third-party service, DataCamp does not control how that platform processes your data. To manage your preferences with a third-party platform, adjust your settings directly with that provider.
How to opt out
To opt out, send an email to support@datacamp.com with the subject line “AI Model Training Opt-Out Request” and our team will process your request.
Please note:
- Opting out applies from the date your request is processed.
- Your exercise submissions and inputs may still be used in limited circumstances even after you opt out — specifically, where content has been flagged for safety review, to detect harmful or inappropriate content, or to enforce our policies.
Free Plan and DataCamp Donates subscribers are not eligible to opt out from any training of AI models that DataCamp may conduct. Enterprise subscribers are opted out of training AI models by default.
