How is Python used in data science?

Python is useful for almost every industry, including technology, healthcare, finance, and consulting. For example, the healthcare industry is using machine learning algorithms in Python to read scans and images to prevent and diagnose disease and optimize hospital operations.  Farmers also use Python to make yield predictions and manage crop diseases and pests with the help of IoT technology.

The founders of Google made the early engineering decision to use “Python where we can, C++ where we must.” Python is also famously used by other technology giants such as Amazon, Instagram, and Spotify—favored by developers for its readability, simplicity, and rich variety of open source libraries.
