    This isn't helpful since during the courses you use data sets that are not in the Dashboard, for example in the "Importing Data with Python Part1" There is no titanic_corrupt.csv, or in the course "Data Science Tool Box part 2" they dedicate an entire chapter to use a variation of a data set included in the dashboard but it is far from being the same.

    I am actually very dissapointed with Data Camp about this, I have done 5 courses already and I have come across this a lot, you make it impossible to replicate the excercises and keep practicing and experimenting further

    +1 Felipe, often there are different datasets not listed on the course page. This makes it difficult to follow along on your own machine.

    You can however view the source code on the page to find exactly where the dataset gets loaded from, to do the same and make any transformations. This can often be annoying and tedious, but at least it makes it possible to replicate the exercises.

    You've made some good points there. I looked on the internet for additional information about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this website.

    This is helpful. I was able to download the datasets using Robert's instructions. The problem I came into is that many of the files are in .pkl or .bz2 format. You have to use the pickle & bz2 module to bring the datasets into the Python environment. It is not to difficult to do. Here is sample Python code using the homeless(.pkl) & walmart (.bz2) datasets from the "Data Manipulation with pandas" course. I hope this helps.

    ******************************************************************************

    #Importing .pkl file

    import pickle

    with open('homeless_data.pkl','rb') as pkl_file:

        data1= pickle.load(pkl_file)
    ******************************************************************************
    #Importing .bz2 file

    import bz2

    import pickle

    with bz2.open('walmart_sales.pkl.bz2','rb') as bz2_file:

        data2= pickle.load(bz2_file)
    ******************************************************************************

    In the course of Data cleaning in Python, the dataset of banking is not  the latest. The download dataset called banking_dirty. There is a little different compared to the online course's dataset.
