Question:
I have decided to create an open course, available to all DataCamp users at no charge, from this page: https://www.datacamp.com/community/open-courses. However, I realize that I need some help with getting started.
Answer:
While DataCamp does not provide direct Support for open course creation, there are plenty of resources at your disposal in order to get started.
Authoring Documentation:
If you're looking for a general documentation, there's an entire knowledge-base dedicated solely to authoring, or creating courses. You can find it HERE.
You'll find information about exercise types, guidelines, and even FAQ's.
Repositories to our existing courses:
If you're looking for something a little more granular, you can find public-facing repositories of DataCamp courses by navigating HERE. From this page, you'll be able to click on any course developed by DataCamp and see exactly how the experts designed and implemented them!
The DataCamp Slack Community:
If you're looking for inspiration or just want to bounce ideas off of other people, the DataCamp Slack Community is an excellent place to start. You'll be able to connect with other Data Science professionals, and even other course instructors.
With a DataCamp subscription, you'll have the ability to communicate with this audience directly via Slack.
We wish you the best of luck in your course creation journey!
