DataCamp’s Free Data Engineering and BI Access Week runs from June 2nd to June 8th, 2025. During this week, you can explore and complete Data Engineering and BI-related courses, projects, and certifications at no cost. After June 8th, free access will end, and a subscription will be required to continue learning.

Every individual DataCamp account is eligible for Free Week, though Teams will still require a subscription, which you can purchase here. 

Do I need to enter payment information to access Data Engineering and BI Free Access Week?

No. No credit card required, no catch - just free learning. From June 2nd to June 8th, 2025, you can access DataCamp’s full Data Engineering and BI library without a subscription. 

Will I keep my progress once the Data Engineering and BI Free Access Week has ended?

Yes! Your course and certification progress are saved. If you subscribe to our Learn premium plan later, you can resume where you left off.

Note: If learners start but do not finish a DataCamp Certification during Free Week, their progress will be retained. However, a premium learn subscription will be required after Free Week to complete the Certification. 

Do I need coding experience to learn on DataCamp?

No! DataCamp’s Data Engineering and BI courses are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced professionals. You can start with Data Engineering and BI basics or dive into advanced modeling, ETL, and visualization. 

I already have a Datacamp subscription. Can I get a 1-week discount or extension for my current plan?

Our current subscribers cannot opt for a 1-week discount or extension. However, we encourage you to join our mission to democratize data skills and spread the word.

Terms and Conditions for DataCamp's Data Engineering and BI Free Access Week

DataCamp’s Free Access Week (“Free Week”) will commence at 9:00 AM ET on 2 June 2025 and close at 11:59 PM ET on 8 June 2025 (the “Free Week Period”).  During the Free Week Period, all individual users registered with DataCamp will be able to access the [Data Engineering and BI Content] of DataCamp’s learning platform without charge, subject to certain restrictions.  The “[Data Engineering and BI Content]” of DataCamp’s learning platform is limited to: Full Data Engineering and BI content library, including Data Engineering and BI Intelligence Courses, Projects, and Certifications. Users registering for a Teams account will not be eligible to participate in Free Week.  As part of Free Week, users will not be able to access any premium features of DataCamp’s DataLab services, any other content not included in the Data Engineering and BI Content, or any non-learning-based products without a paid subscription.  After the Free Week Period, users will no longer be able to access the Data Engineering and BI Content without a paid subscription to DataCamp, regardless of when during the Free Week Period you actually sign up for DataCamp or otherwise begin using the Data Engineering and BI Content. You must be a registered DataCamp user, have accepted DataCamp’s terms of use and privacy policy, and have a valid and active account to participate in Free Week.  There is no purchase necessary to participate in Free Week.  To participate, go to datacamp.com and log in to your account or select “Get Started” to create a new user account.  DataCamp reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Free Week Period at any time in its sole discretion.
