Streak freezes

What are streaks?

Streaks are a fun way to track your progress by measuring consecutive days of learning. The more days you learn, practice or engage with Datacamp, the longer your streak becomes. Streaks are designed to encourage consistent learning habits and keep you motivated as you advance toward your goals. To meet your streak each day, you simply need to earn 250XP (roughly the size of one lesson, 4 exercises, or a practice session).

How do I earn a streak?

You can earn a streak by completing 250 XP each day, such as completing a lesson, 4 exercises, or a practice session. Each consecutive day of completion adds to your streak. If you skip a day, your streak will reset unless you have a streak freeze in place.

When does my streak reset?

Your streak will reset at midnight according to your local time zone. The exact time of reset will depend on the time zone settings on your account or device.

What are streak freezes, and how do I earn them?

Streak freezes help you maintain your learning streak even if you miss a day. You can have up to two streak freezes at any time.

These are awarded automatically based on your learning activity. Each time you extend your streak, you may earn new streak freezes.

Keep learning regularly to increase your chances of earning streak freezes!
